Silver Update: What’s happening around you?
The silver reached a high record in 2026, when the prices suddenly went high, many traders didn’t want to wait, so most of them sold it to lock in their profit quickly. This is one of the main reasons for a sudden fall.
Another main reason is the margin requirement hike on silver futures by CME Group. When silver prices significantly changed, traders were asked to pay extra money to keep their trades open. Many traders did not have extra money ready, so they were forced to sell the silver positions. When many traders sold at the same time, the silver prices fell even more.
The expert says, This fall is not because Silver became weak, it is mainly a short-term fall after a big rise.
The prices have gone very high; naturally, the prices have to come down to balance itself.
