Gold Rate Today in India (15 December 2025): Check 24k, 22k, and 18k Rates; Gold Rate steps up at today’s opening. 

The gold rate in India gained some movement on today’s opening session in MCX. Today, the gold rates of 24k and 22k continue to strengthen for 4 consecutive days and are expected to reach new heights in the coming days, according to the market experts. The rate of 24k gold is ₹13473, which is ₹82 higher than yesterday morning; the rate of 22k gold is ₹12350, climbing ₹75 higher from yesterday; and the rate of 18k gold reached ₹10105 with an increase of ₹62.

Silver Update

The silver rate today has increased by ₹2.9 per gram and is selling at ₹200.9/g. After the previous correction on Friday evening, silver joined the rally again today.

The white metal demand has increased worldwide because of its industrial use, and China has announced that it will limit the export of silver. This policy will be operational in 2027. The Chinese companies need licenses to export the precious metal. To qualify for the license, the companies need to make a minimum of 80 tonnes of silver per year, according to trade experts. This move will make an impact around the world because China is the 2nd largest miner of silver in the world. Also, India imported silver during September-October was over 2,600 tonnes.

MCX Update

On the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold mini MCX (January Futures) is trading near 1,33,000 at today’s opening. The silver mini MCX (February Futures) is trading around 1,97,000. After the minor correction on Friday evening, it joined the rally again.
